Senior Product Designer (Growth)
Natural Cycles° is a leading women’s health company that developed the world’s first birth control app, used by millions globally. We are a fast growing startup, and we promote an international working environment filled with smart and ambitious colleagues based in Stockholm, Geneva, New York, and remotely. Our mission is to pioneer women’s health through research and passion, empowering every woman with the knowledge she needs to take charge of her health.
We are looking for a talented and self-driven Senior Product Designer to join our Product Growth team. As the designer behind our app's signup quiz, you'll create an engaging onboarding experience that welcomes new users and sets the tone for their Natural Cycles journey. Your primary focus will be on optimizing the signup flow to maximize conversion and drive user acquisition. We are looking for someone who can take charge of projects, make smart decisions, and design solutions that make a real difference for users.
By joining our team, you’ll get the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of projects with a team of top product designers, product managers, and engineers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, hybrid (technology/operations) environment. You’ll work on big, strategic projects as well as short, iterative A/B tests where you’ll get to see the impact of your work right away.
Please note that we are hiring for this role in Sweden.
What you will be doing
Craft the app's first impression: Design an engaging onboarding experience, including the signup quiz and purchase flow.
Drive user acquisition & conversion: Collaborate with other designers in the Product Growth team to design and A/B test design elements, optimizing for key metrics like conversion rates, user activation, and engagement.
Own the full design process: from sketching and user journey mapping to wireframing and polished mockups.
Data-informed decision making: Utilize user research and data insights to inform design choices, assess impact, and validate hypotheses.
Collaborate & contribute: Work closely with a cross-functional agile team, including Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, User Researchers, and Copywriters. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the broader Product Design team, shaping our design system, brand, and strategic projects.
What skills and experience we think you have
Minimum of 4 years of product design experience: A proven track record designing consumer-focused products, with a strong emphasis on mobile app design and user flows.
Growth-oriented mindset: You're curious, eager to learn, and passionate about user acquisition and growth. You approach challenges proactively, always seeking ways to improve the user experience and drive results.
Self-driven & independent: You take ownership of your projects and effectively manage your own workload.
Ability to think strategically: You have the ability to make strategic decisions and drive initiatives that have substantial impact on the company, across departments.
User-centric approach: A deep understanding of UX processes and user-centered design practices, with the ability to advocate for the user throughout the design process.
Strong visual design skills with proficiency in Figma: Creating beautiful and intuitive interfaces, applying your knowledge of color, typography, layout, and other design principles.
Strong communication & collaboration skills: You're able to articulate your ideas clearly, give and receive feedback constructively, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Design system experience: Experience working with and contributing to design systems is a plus.
Portfolio: An online portfolio or PDF showcasing your best work and demonstrating your design process and problem-solving skills.
