Acquisition Insights Manager - New York City

We are looking for an Acquisition Insights Manager to join our team in New York City! 

This role is responsible for continuously assessing all forms of acquisition marketing (on-line and off-line) against key metrics - eg. CPA, ROI, engagement, awareness - towards the goal of acquiring (NPU conversion) users to the brand and driving insightful learning that will continue to scale the business and identify new acquisition tactics and opportunities for growth.  This is a strategic, insightful, analytical thinker who seeks to translate objective learning into actionable initiatives to grow the business and change/inspire women’s lives every single day.

What you will be doing

  • Dissect, analyze and unearth data-driven insights that shape acquisition initiatives to grow the brand in a scalable manner.
  • Identify and develop research plans that will address existing marketing needs and identify new acquisition opportunities through behavioral understanding and refined consumer targeting. 
  • Design, structure and manage qualitative and quantitative research projects
  • Analyze data and findings to draw meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
  • Continuously monitor market trends and nuances, and identify the impact they may have on marketing decision making
  • Bridge insightful and actionable learning and coordinate value-add between acquisition channels, product channels (web, app), and marketers, developers and data scientists.
  • Assess, analyze and drive actionable insight to the seamless consumer journey between acquisition and retention using key tools (i.e. FB, CRM)
  • Manage external vendors when necessary to execute market research
  • Develop reports and presentations that communicate key findings and illustrate consumer stories in a meaningful way
  • Advocate for the consumer, ensuring that the voice of the consumer is represented in key marketing decisions

This leader will report to the Global Head of Acquisition/USA Commercial Leader.

What skills and experience you should have

We are looking for an experienced, Acquisition Insights Manager with 3-5 years experience in actively leveraging quantitative, digitally driven research to optimize the performance of acquiring users. Collaboration with internal departments, as well as external stakeholders and agencies to ensure alignment with brand and company goals is important.

  • 3-5 years experience as a quantitative researcher leveraging data as input and output to develop acquisition insights for scaling a business. Experience in marketing mix modeling or other modeling-based research a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field or equivalent.
  • Curiosity and passion for solving problems based on data, telling stories and learning with a scientific grounding.
  • Able to creatively solve business problems and translate data into consumer stories.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects independently.
  • Comfortable in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, high performance organization that is goal-oriented.
  • A confident communicator with a vocal point of view grounded in data support
  • Ideally with an interest in women’s health.
